The Role of feedback in concept learning



The learning of concepts involves three basic cognitive behaviors understanding the characteristcs of a given concept and the association of that concept within an area of the content applying a given concept and knowing when where mand shy to employ a given concept. For labels and facts feedback should give some evaluatio of whether the learner s response is complete and whether the learner s associatio s are complete. Feedback has three components feedback accurs after a learner axhibits behavior of some kind feedback is observable by the learner and feedback describes the effects the leraner s behavior
