Strategi pembelajaran membaca prosa fiksi dengan modal konferensi pada siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar



This classroom action research was intended to investigate the implementatin of the taeching strategy using conference model. The conference model has there major characteristics (i) it is lirerature based (ii) it is dependent upon individual and the group conferences (iii) it is individualized and the children select the books to read on their own. The subjects involved in study were five gade students. The data were collected through observation interview and documentation which were then reducing the data writing it up verifying and concluding it. The results incate that the model built up students schema increased their interest to read fiction books helped them understand texts better helped them respon to the books and developed social reationship among them.
