 <note>The design of expert system for identifying and recommending fault recovery of AC motor. The existing vibration measurement instruments do not have capability to identify AC motor fault and give the information about the cause of it and reparation recommendation. Therefore  in this research  it will design the AC motor fault identification system through measurement data. The causes of motor damage that can be identified are short lifetime bearing  over vibration  and bearing oveheating. The identification process uses the statistical pattern recognition approach. From this approach  it  s obtained reliable interval 0.0247 to 0.1486 V for short lifetime bearing  0.5022 to 0.705 V for over vibration  and 0.7183 to 0.9812 V for bearing overheating. From this test  it  s obtained the reliable level of this system approximately 80%.</note>
