Based on social accounting matrix multiplier study the role of agriculture based production sectors in nominal income distribution of Papua s economy production system is very prominent. From diffusion effect perspective in Papua there are three main agriculture based sectors plantation forestry and food and beverage industries. If each of these sectors is injected by one billion rupiahs it is expected that the production acceptance in the economy of Papua will increase by 10.21 billion rupiahs. Beside it has the highest diffusion effect toward the economy the economic sectors (agriculture based) also give significant impact to the household income. Among the agriculture based sectors plantation fishery and forestry contribute the net multiplier by 0.37 0.31 and 0.30 respectively. Even though the role of agriculture based economic sectors is very high in Papua but these sectors can not give positive influence toward the improvement of the household distribution income. According to redistributed income analysis in social accounting matrix these sectors in general give disadvantage influence to mechanism of household income distribution because the global effect has a negative sign. This condition happen because the effect of increase income on the sectors goes to high level income household rather than low level income. Moreover it is much bigger to be accepted by urban household.
