This paper investigates the concept of fuzzy inclusion relation between fuzzy sets as developed by Sinha-Dougherty and Young by way of axiomatic approach using the concepts of indicator function and fuzzy subsethood measure respectively. Applications of fuzzy inclusion are discussed in the fields of fuzzy logic fuzzy entropy and fuzy clustering.
