The writing might be in the form of newspaper editorial opinion of particular expert or that of freelance writer. The line of thought in popular argumentative writing tends to be composed of three main elements stance evidence and conclusion. It also tends to be in the form of associative or qu-asi-logical relationship analogy generalization and example and causal relation- ship. In terms of the pattern the thought tends to have complex and chaining pat- terns that is it has two or more main ideas to argue. 1.
