This research is aimed at improving the students reading comprehension of German texts using advance organizer . The subjects were Class XI1 students SMAN 1 Ambon. The data were collected through observations pre-test training collaborator s notes and final test. The results of the data analysis demonstrate that the use of advance organizer could improve the students comprehension of German texts in three-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR). The improvement of the students reading comprehension is reflected in their progressing average score from Cycle I to Cycle 111.
