Pengaruh metode latihan sirkuit dan berat badan terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai



The objective of this research is to find out the effect of circuit plyometric-training method and circuit weight-training method on leg power. This research is also aimed at discovering the influence of body weight category and the interaction between circuit training methods and body weight on leg power. This experimental study was conducted at Faculty of Sport and Science State University of Padang involving 48 subjects selected randomly. The result of research indicate that (1) in general there is a significance difference between circuit plyometric-training method and circuit weight-training method on leg power of student (2) for the group with high body weight category circuit plyometritraining method is more effective than circuit weight-training method to develop leg power (3) for the group with low body weight category there is no significant difference between circuit plyometric-training method and circuit weight-training method on leg power (4) there is an interaction between circuit training method and body weight category on leg power. It can be concluded that circuit plyometric-training method can improve leg power more effectively compared to circuit weight-training method and its effects depends on the body weight category.
