This study was aimed at comparing the results of teaching students at high number of lecturer-students ratio and low number of lecture-students ratio in the CNC Programming subject through experimental research method with control group. Thirty-two students from Mechanical Engineering Teacher Training study program in Mechanical Departement Padang State University were divided into control end experimental group. The instrument used the alternative Likert scale. The study showed that the motivation and students grade in teaching low lecture-students ratio group was significantly better than high lecture-students ratio gruop.
