Discourse that is much readable is the discourse whit high topic continuty. The continuity degree according to Givon (1983) deals with (1) mentioning gap (2) persistence. (3) interference (4) deletion and (5) structure ordered. Dealing with those relations in Indonesian Language texbook for sixth grade pupils of elemantary school it was found les readable text elementary because of the disturbed topic continuity. The disturbance based on its productivity order is caused by (1) interference (2)law (gap) persistence (3)wrong structure ordered pattern and (4) mentioning gap.
