 <note>This study was aimed to find a description of the teachers effort to use teaching aids  to motivate  and to encourage the students yo think and to develop the student         talent in theaching learnung process.  This study was carried out in segalamider 2 elementary school  Bandar lampung. The subject of the study was the second year class teacher. The focus was on the use of the teaching aids of mathematics. This study was carried out in three cycle. The first cycle used the teaching aids of the Questionnaire rod  the second used the modification of the questionnare rod and a model of domino cards  and the third used concrete things and geometrical forms. The procedure of the implementation used the working method including the training  discussion  question and answer  assigment  and the implementation in the class. The data collection was done through consultation  observation  discussion and documentation. The data were analyzed using the qualitative discriptive analysis.     The result of the study showed that there was an imprivement of the learning of mathematics from the mean of 4.3 to 6.34 or an increase of 2.04. The use of the teaching aids was effective because it could give contribution to the improvement of the learning achievement of 47.44%.         </note>
