This study was carried out to find a solution to the question of what was teachers ability to implement the teaching learning activity in SDN 20 Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang and what effort could be done to improve the teacher s ability . This study was conducted by observing the teaching learning activity carried out by the teachers. The obsevartion used a varition and Flanders Interation Analysis Categories (FIAC). The abservation was done twice in each cycle and then followed by a discussion and reflection. After the model and procedure of the improvement action of the teaching learning activity management was determined the teachers were asked to implement the model and procedure in their teaching learning activity. this activity was observed in the same way as the first cycle. The data obtained in the second cycle was then analyzed and discussed with the research team. This was followed by second reflection. The result of the study showed that there was a changed in the teacher s abilityin giving explanation and using a variation. This was seen from their happiness and satisfaction after carrying out the teaching learning activity. This was also seen from the student s learning achievement.
