Daya Saing Furnitur Rotan Indonesia Di Pasar Internasional dan Strategi Pengembangannya



This research was aimed to analyse the competitiveness of Indonesia rattan furniture industry in international market and to study the most appropriate strategy for enchancing export of Indonesia rattan furniture industry. The data was analyzed using RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) CMSA (Constant Market Share Analysis) IKP (Market Concentration Index) ISP (Trade Specialization Index) and SWOT (Strength Weakness Opportunity and Threat) methods. Diminishing of RCA value and market share of Indonesias rattan furniture within an increasing of world demand show tha trattan furniture from Indonesia can not complete with the same product from other countries. However among 3 group of rattan) and HS 940380100 (furniture of rattan) the last two have RCA level more than one point which means they have strong competitiveness as Indonesian export commodity.
