Infrastructure investmet is a requisite to an increase of regional economic growth. Regarding the interregional dependences transportation infrastructure provides positive contribution towards their neighborhoods economic growth. The research model is developed using transmission mechanism framework that shows a sequent of transportation infrastucture investment. Firstly such jnvestment will affect the number of economic units then followed by its impact on the production volume of four observed sectors and finally on the regional economic growth and its neighborhood s. This research is to analyze the impact of transportations(toll) insfractructure investment on economic growth in the surronding regional. the sample regional chosen in the this research are jakarta bogor depok tangerang and bekasi. the research data is a time series data of four economic sectors during period 1990-2006. the reseach model used is the two stages least square (2SLS) wich is followed by simulation using SIMLIN procedures. Some policies show that investment in a toll increased the economic growth particulary in manufacture sector in the most jabodetabek area. the analysis shows mixed impacts of the transportation infrastructure on the economic growth of the region as a result of higher mobility of economic units from the regional to another
