This research is aimed to analyze the roles of agroindustry toward Siak economy and the impact of policy in agroindustry development toward income distribution and employment. The method used in this research is input - output analysis using Miyazawa model. This research found that agroindustry is dominant sector in Siak and play big role in increasing economic output employment and house-hold income. The combination of increase in investment and export policies would yield a bigger impact than investment and the government expenditure. Policies in food agroindustry have greater impact on income distribution improvement than non food agroindustry. As a result the most effective policy in Siak is conducting economic policy in food agroindustry through in the increase of investment and export.
