<note>This study is a literature review to provide advice on a variety of alternative fiscal policy for the subsector of transportation especially transportation in city in 6 Cities of Indonesia. The data used are secondary data derived from literature studies and discussions with various source in a forum Focus Group Discussion (FGD) both in internal and external forums. Studies using a qualitative descriptive approach as a material in which the analysis is based on the results of the literature review provided information that there are two main fiscal policy alternatives to address congestion in 6 major cities first policies to reduce movement and both policies to reduce vehicle. Implementation of the two policies can be done in the form of road pricing parking restrictions public transport passenger keteristikan shift work time restrictions on age and tenure telematics land use and taxation. For big-city traffic jamps from the source volume of the high number of private vehicles that operate the applicable policy that refers to the pricing policy (pricing policy) and non-price policy (non-pricing policy). Society should pay more expensive or otherwise have to spend a greater sacrifice of private vehicle when used as transportation to support its activities. And vice versa if the people using public transport then the price paid relatively much cheaper. While the non pricing policy can be either more stringent licensing policies both to the mode of transportation as well as individuals. Policies driving license can be used to reduce the pressure that comes from people who want to use private vehicle as the main transport. Policy number of passengers and type of models that are allowed to pass trough a road segment can be an alternative option that effectively suppress the occurence of congestion.</note>
