This Research is aimed at comperhending the correlation between precompetition anxiety and achievement of teenage badminton athlete. this study not only shows the effect of precompetition anxiety but also the effect of some factors of precompetition anxiety as well as the effect of precompetition anxiety levels and also the role of each factor on the acheevement of teenage badminton athlete. The research method applied is descriptive analitic with cross sectional study approach and this research is with purposive sampling pattern it took place at GOR AKMIL Magelang ( March 2002 ) and at GOR Tri lomba juang Semarang ( April 2002 ). The population and research samples are teenaga athlete male of 13-13 years of age (a lot of them study in senior high school and the other study in yunior high school) using purposive sampling as the sample taking technic. the tecnique of obtaining data is by filling out a valid and reliable questionare of 30 respondents the questionare includes mood mind behaviour biological and social factors whereas the technic of analizing data was by using descriptive approach product moment and chisquare test. this research comes to a cnclusion that precompetition anxiety effect the achievement of teenage badminton athlete the category of moderate and low level of anxiety on achievement but the category of high/heavy level of anxiiety does not effect on achievement (possibly the samples were too few only three athletes) mind factor has the most dominant and significant negative effect on the achievement of teenage badminton athlete while social factor has positive effect on the achievement of teenege badminton athlete although it is not very signifi cant.
