Validasi Dimensi Sikap Akademik, Konsep Diri, Suasana Demokratis, dan Kendali Diri Para Murid SD
This study was aimed at validating the ISERP (International School Effectiviness Research Program) Scale whether the dimensions of the scale were applicable in Indonesian Primary School or not. The four dimension comprising ISERP Scale are academic attitudes self-concept democratic atmosphere and locus of control. Each scale was examined in terms of its validity and reliability the instrument was translated into Indonesian and distributed to 1886 children of the 3 rd and 4th year at primary school in the district of Sidoarjo - East Java. The schools represented urban semi-urban and rural areas. Factor analysis and the reliability estimation of the scale namely Cronbach alpha were used in the analysis. The result was allfour dimensions were confirmed validly with sufficient high estimation of reability ranging between 0.73 and 0.9.The results have implications for further research in teaching school effectiviness and improfement.
