Keefektifan Penggunaan Metode Inkuiri Dalam Meningkatkan Kreativitas Siswa Baru
The aim of the research is to find out the effectiveness of inquiry method and lacture method in increasing. In addition the research also aimen to understand the effect of learning style and IQ on the result of both teaching methods. The learning style is devided into field independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD). Whereas IQ level is Classitied into high IQ and low IQ. The research was conducted at second grade of SMU Negeri Sukoharjo of Central Java during cawu III in the academic year 1996/1997. The research method was experiment desigh 2X2X2. The sample consisted of 80 persons devide into eight group each of which consisted of ten persons. The instrument used was creativity test which measured the cognitive domain. The technique of data analysis used was analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by schffe-test at the level of significance a 0 05. It can be concluded from the research thah (1) In general the effectiveness of inquiry method in increasing is higher than that with lecture method (2) For the group of field Independent (FI) learning style the effectiveness of inquiry method in increasing creativity lower than that with lecture method (3) For the group of Field Dependent (FD) learning style.the effectiveness of inquiry method in increasing creativity is higher than that with lecture mentod (4) There is time interacion between teaching mentho and learning style (5)For the high ID group.The affectivenees of inquiry method increasing creativity is higher than than with lecture method (6) For low IQ group the effectiveness of inquiry method in the increasing creativity is lower than that with lecture method and (7) There is an interaction between teaching method and IQ.
