Pengukuran suhu api dengan menggunakan laser He-Ne



Temperature measurement of flame has been done by means of speckle photography. Speckle is a pattern of dark-bright as a result of laser beam interference transmitted by a diffuser. The speckle has been recorded using Kodak tehnical pan film by putting the burner between the diffuser and the film. Recording was done twice on the same film (double-exposures) before and after the flame was introduced. Due to the difference between the refractive index of the flame and the medium the random recorded speckle was shifted respect one to another. The recorded shifting has a property double slit after processing. From the interference pattern the temperature of the flame can be determined by comparing with the reference temperature. This experiment used flame from LPG gas connected to Meker burner. This sisten has error of less than 4
