Halaman: 9-16 Pitcher plant (Nepenthes spp.) that is known as a carnivorous plant with a variety of pitcher shapes and colors has been included in the list of Appendix I and II of CITES. Center for Plant Conservation Botanic Gardens has done the ex situ conservation for some species of Nepenthes in 2006. Nepenthes ampullaria N. gracilis N. mirabilis and N. rafflesiana have been prpagated through in vitro technique. There were 24 students from several universities in Indonesia joined the research and development of the Nepenthes species during 2007-2014. The product of this research has been displayed and sold in both of Orchid House and Garden Shop of Botanic Gardens. 1.
