Constructing difference: a ComparativeStudy of Elementary Science Curriculum Defferentiation



The research described in this article was a comparative study of science curriculum differentiation at two elementary school that served student from different socioeconomic and ethnic background. Two schools in the same schools district. lake and Jefferson were the sites for the research. Lake elementary served a proffesional class and white neighborhiid but Jeferson Elementary served students from working class/working poor and ethically deverse backgrounds.
